Samunsam Wildlife Sanctuary, is rich with biodiversity and easily accesible throughout the year. Landscape protected include mixed dipterocarp forests, mangrove forests, beach forets, kerangas, as well as mudflats, each with its unique flora and fauna. The Sanctuary is also home to several endemic species as well as species of conservation importance, with potential for ecotourism.
