This book discusses the history of local government in Sarawak which traced back the era of the White Rajah to the present local government administration. It also discuss the process of implementing quality management systems particularly Total Quality Management and the MS ISO 9000 by the local authorities. In addition, the book gauges the internal customers perceptions on the factors that determine successful implementation of quality in management system in the local authorities.Lastly it discusses the external customers' perceptions of local authorities services.
